CULTURAL SITE - AL AIN - ZAYED CENTRAL LIBRARY

Zayed Central Library established in 1977 as UAE University's library. In 2016 it was opened as a public library under the Department of Culture and Tourism. Zayed Central Library is the largest library in the emirate of Abu Dhabi, and it’s located in Al Ain city with more than 100,000 titles in its collection, including variety of children and adults’ books to scientific journals, periodicals, scholarly works and academic publications. Library visitors can also use a range of other amenities, including computers with internet, Wi-Fi, reading and studying spaces, a theatre, and a café.

Zayed Central Library hosts school’s visits, and provide a variety of community programmes, including children storytelling, hand crafting workshops, and engaging with diverse cultures of the community on the national and special days, cultural and national celebration, book signing events and art exhibitions.
