CULTURAL SITE - QASR AL WATAN

Qasr Al Watan, known as the Palace of the Nation, is a unique cultural landmark that builds on the standing values and vision of the UAE.

Set amid the 380,000-square-meter Presidential Palace courtyard, it also hosts the formal offices of the UAE’s President, Vice-President and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi. More than a customary palace, Qasr Al Watan pays tribute to the region’s Arabian heritage, artistry, and history.

As one of the only working Palaces of its kind in the world, the Palace invites visitors to gain a deeper understanding of the UAE’s governing traditions and values by exploring a well-preserved legacy of knowledge and tradition. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the majestic hallways of the Palace of the Nation, as they delve into a world of fascinating exhibitions, artefacts and architecture. As part of the all-encompassing guest experience, a special part of the experience is the Palace in Motion light and sound show, a visual representation of the national journey of the United Arab Emirates.

The Palace also houses the Qasr Al Watan Library, where guests can explore a vast collection of books and resources on the UAE’s political, social and cultural history.
